Alfredo and Rosy Rodriguez’s dream of owning a home finally became reality through Habitat for Humanity of Weber & Davis Counties.
They shared their joy of becoming first-time homeowners in May 2022 at their new Ogden home with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce.
For years, the Rodriguez’s and their three children rented in poor conditions with landlords that allowed the water to be turned off, no heat access to various rooms, and leaking roofs. Alfredo and Rosy worked hard but still struggled to afford to own a home.
The family labored more than 500 hours of sweat equity toward the construction of their new Ogden home.
