Wow! The Davis County ReStore in Layton has everything!
Are you re-modeling, re-building, re-doing or just thinking about re-something?
If you need a tub, toilet or sink for that bathroom re-do, visit the Re-Store! Look at this selection!
Not only that, but look at these top quality cabinets to use in your bathroom or kitchen.
And if you want to light up somebody’s life, or maybe a room in your home, check out these chandeliers and other lighting options. Maybe you just need light bulbs.
This is not your father’s ReStore. This is great stuff. Come and check it out. Visit the Davis County/Layton ReStore at 859 West Hill Field Road in Layton.
Other great things happening with Habitat of Weber/Davis County:
The building permit for 2916 Grant is complete. This location is for a couple with 3 kids. This reflects the mission of Habitat of “a world where everyone has a decent place to live.”
Plans for our first townhomes at 170 27th Street are in the works and show positive progress as local political and business leaders are starting to understand the need for affordable housing in Ogden.
Much hard work has been done working on mini home communities in both Weber and Davis Counties in a partnership with Weber State and the DATC and ATC. This is VERY exciting as mini homes are really catching on nation-wide as housing stock is limited, and what there is, it’s terribly expensive.
Another goal is 100 repair jobs during our fiscal year to help make existing homes more enjoyable and habitable for the occupants.
Thank you to all of the volunteers and supporters that have made all of these wonderful events a reality. Thanks to you, many people have a better quality, safer life than they might have imagined.
We also want to welcome Weber State University students that will be helping Habitat through their volunteer efforts. They will be helping with education/marketing efforts to educate people about Habitat and all the great things we do.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and thank you for all of your help and support!
